Mark directs the powerful resources of all five Kenmark corporations to address individual client and partner needs. He oversees the development and marketing of residential and commercial projects built by Kenmark, as well as assuming a lead role in the fulfillment of numerous corporate real estate engagements. As founder and President of Kenmark, Mark brings over 30 years of leadership experience and has committed his career to changing how the real estate service model is viewed and delivered. Mark is also the Event Chairman for the Navy SEAL Foundation, SEAL Tribute and Celebration in Half Moon Bay.
Chief Executive Officer
Bruce specializes in creating and implementing sophisticated real estate strategies for the acquisition, leasing, development, financing, construction, and disposition of high profile and complex real estate projects. Bruce’s strategies form the foundation for creative and realistic plans designed to enhance project value and reduce investor, partner, and shareholder risk. Prior to Kenmark, Bruce served as a real estate attorney and general counsel for various corporations including some of the country’s largest development companies.
Wayne has more than 18 years experience in managing corporate, real estate and technology clients. His career includes profit/loss management positions in information technology support, real estate, construction, and facilities, as well as major project management successes. Among his many roles at Kenmark, Wayne is currently responsible for the on-site management and operation of Echelon’s corporate campus in San Jose.
Vice President of Real Estate Operations
Caitlin J. Russell is the Vice President of Real Estate Operations for Kenmark Real Estate Group. In addition to working on the acquisition, entitling, permitting, and other multifarious processes involved in land use and real estate development, Caitlin works closely with the Kenmark Construction team. Additionally, her position as marketing director affords her the opportunity to play a principal role in the promotion of Kenmark’s residential sites throughout the Bay Area.
Caitlin began at Kenmark in 2006. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of San Francisco, and a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from San Jose State University.
Vice President, Finance & Administration
Lauren R. Ramirez is the Vice President, Finance & Administration for Kenmark Real Estate Group. Lauren oversees the general and administrative operations for the Kenmark Companies, including accounting, tax, human resources, information technology and risk management. She is also responsible for the financial forecasting and analysis associated with various Kenmark development projects, and Ocean Colony Partners long-range planning.
Lauren began at Kenmark in 2008. Her career prior to 2008 was spent in large-cap corporate finance (Intel Corporation and Genentech, Inc.), where she worked as an analyst in multiple capacities supporting enterprise services and general and administrative groups. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oregon State University, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arizona.
In his position as Construction Manager, Duke Leggett offers Kenmark Construction over 30 years of experience in the real estate development and construction industry. Prior to his career at Kenmark, Duke held various management positions for both a Fortune 500 as well as privately owned real estate developers. In more recent years, Duke was the owner of a land development and construction company developing properties in both Northern and Southern California. As a native of the Bay Area, Duke began his career working for a family owned development and construction business that was in fact the first to build in Ocean Colony.
In his position as Controller for both the Ocean and Old Course, Oliver Javier offers Kenmark over 14 years of experience in the golf industry. Prior to his career at Kenmark, Oliver worked as a revenue manager in the hotel industry where he managed over 50 employees and controlled an annual revenue of over $25 million. Oliver has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Philippine School of Business Administration.
As an employee of Half Moon Bay Golf Links, Bill leads a team of six department heads and over 130 employees to deliver a first class golf experience at the 18th leading golf resort in North America. In addition to the development of a progressive annual business plan, he manages the operating budget for all departments including golf course grounds maintenance, golf service and retail operations, food & beverage and clubhouse/grounds maintenance. His responsibilities extend to critical projects in the start-up stages and currently include the duties of the Executive Event Director of the U.S. Navy SEAL Tribute which is held annually.
Julie Casasanto is the Project Coordinator for Kenmark Real Estate Group. Overseeing all activities related to Kenmark’s newest development, Carnoustie. Prior to working at Kenmark, Julie worked in the nonprofit sector with special needs clients, and has a background being an Executive Assistant. She has also earned her bachelor’s degree in Child Development from San Francisco State University and holds a California Real Estate License.
As the Assistant Controller, Daniel Orlicky handles nearly all aspects of accounting within Ocean Colony Partners. He specializes in optimization of accounting procedures and is proficient in computerized accounting methods. He has over 5 years of work experience in accounting and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Santa Clara University.
Angelina joined the Kenmark team in 2012. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from Simpson University. Angelina currently works in the accounting department as a Staff Account, payroll clerk, and HR representative for Ocean Colony Partners. With a background in classroom management and staff onboarding, she enjoys her role as HR representative for Ocean Colony Partners. She looks forward to continuing her education in Finance.
Chef Richard Wood is the executive chef for Half Moon Bay Golf Links and is in charge of all operations in the kitchen and staff. He is fortunate to have been raised in such a bountiful region of the world: Northwest and Bay Area.
Chef Richard graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle and Le Cordon Bleu Paris France. After graduating, he moved to Beverly Hills where his passion for catering in a boutique hotel setting came in full swing. He opened the doors to his own restaurant in San Diego called Talus Café with a focus on contemporary American cuisine.
Amanda came to Half Moon Bay Golf links 2 years ago from Cetrella restaurant where she was the Director of private events. Before that Amanda worked at Crystal Springs Catering Company as sales manager and event coordinator, Amanda started her career in the hospitality industry at Arizona State University with her major in Tourism Development Management with an emphasis in sales and meeting planning, while in collage Amanda worked at the Arizona Biltmore resort and spa doing group reservations.
Amanda is involved with all aspects of the full-service hospitality establishments’ day-to-day functions, including staff management, guest interactions, office administration duties, vendor communications, and labor costs. Amanda oversees the management of all staff and ensures that operational standards are met in regards to the highest level.
Amanda is a native to Half Moon Bay where she went to school met her husband and will raise their first child; she has proven to be a pillar to the community as a hospitality leader and friend. She has orchestrated the Bocce league and has been the overall 1st place winner for the past 4 seasons. With her education and experience Amanda is a valuable asset to Half Moon Bay Golf links.
